Sycamore Square is a prestigious 37-unit residential development in Gosforth, Newcastle, transforming a former NHS site into a modern community.

The project features a mix of luxury homes, including four and five-bedroom detached houses, townhouses, bungalows, and two-bedroom apartments, all centered around a spacious green courtyard. Developed as part of a Joint Venture, the Henson team played a key role in securing planning consent from Newcastle City Council in early 2020, paving the way for a high-quality living environment.

Targeting the luxury market, these homes were carefully designed in collaboration with clients, buyers, and real estate agents to allow for customization and premium finishes. The project also required close coordination with the local council to navigate complex planning conditions, such as tree preservation orders and a hedgehog mitigation strategy. To minimize disruption to the surrounding community, a temporary access route was established, and restricted working hours were implemented, ensuring a smooth and considerate construction process.
